My name is Carl, some people call me Nicky. I call myself a_relative_mind. A researcher and musician from the Philippines living in Australia. A constant learner, a relative thinker doing PhD (Cultural Sociology of Music) at Griffith University.

I like to sleep, eat, drink, and stare blankly at anything. I don’t look someone in the eye but my ears listen to all the things the society is saying and the sounds the world is producing. As a self-proclaimed social anthropologist, studying people and culture drives me to appreciate the world despite chaos in society as it makes me understand our lives better.
